Compiler Engineer
Compiler Engineer
We have an open position in our compiler engineering team at one of our portfolio companies. Ideally, this individual has experience with or deeply understands GCC compilers.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement core GCC compiler architectural components
- Design and implement various high-level and low-level interfaces for internal and external teams
- Support new hardware architectures and speculative co-design
- Work with R&D and customer delivery team to support compiler-based projects
Requirements:
- BS or higher in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years of experience developing and maintaining large-scale software projects
- Experience working on compiler infrastructures such GCC
- Strong background in developing software APIs and application architectures
- Experience in compiler optimizations
- Strong software design/engineering skills in modern C++, excellent debugging skills
- Understanding of performance analysis
Compensation:
$115,000 - $175,000 per year plus benefits, based on experience
