Digital Signal Processing Engineer

VOCAL Technologies is currently seeking individuals who are creative, self-motivated, and who demonstrate analytic ability, practicality, and quality work. We are looking for individuals with a rich understanding of digital signal processing with an emphasis on the acoustic domain. This individual will be part of a team to develop solutions for the telecommunications industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform testing analysis and verification of hardware and software.
  • Support Senior Engineers on multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Engage with customers to provide signal processing solutions that meet and exceed their needs.
  • Research inventive algorithms and signal processing code.

Qualifications:
  • BS, MS, or PhD in electrical engineering, computer science, or similar degree.
  • Experience with digital signal processing and algorithm development.
  • Experience with real-time system development.
  • Knowledge of filter design and adaptive filtering theory.
  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques.
  • Experience in programming in C and/or Python.
  • Experience working on a software development team.
  • Quick learner with ability to multi-task.
  • Independent and self-starter work ethic.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
