Job Description:
Benefitfocus is searching for a Customer Success Intern for the Summer 2022 Internship Program. In this role, you will gain experience in developing high-trust relationships with Benefitfocus customers, measured through customer satisfaction, relationship health, and customer retention. The Customer Success Intern serves as an extension of their customer’s team, helping to drive desired outcomes while maximizing the value of the Benefitfocus solution. You will gain a strong understanding of benefits administration, technology (specifically SaaS), business process outsourcing, and strategic planning.
Responsibilities:
• Gain experience in building and maintaining relationships with a portfolio of customers throughout all stages of the customer lifecycle.
• Assist in managing customer relationships to maximize desired outcomes for customers while increasing satisfaction and retention.
• Research and stay up to date with industry trends to advocate for customers on best practices.
• Learn how to demonstrate effective command of Benefitfocus governance/decision-making processes, products/solutions, organizational structures, and technology infrastructure.
• Assist with leading and motivating cross-functional internal teams on behalf of the customer to anticipate and address needs and ensure the highest possible quality of work.
• Help in driving annual open enrollment success with customers by collaborating with each customer to develop actionable steps with assigned owners, managing timelines and measurements while anticipating and removing roadblocks, and orchestrating multiple resources as needed.
Experience & Skills:
• Current undergraduate or graduate student studying Business Management or another related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Ability to multitask and prioritize time between internal and external efforts.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite, (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Experience with SaaS or benefits administration, (preferred).
