Cybersecurity Analyst - Intern

As a Cybersecurity Analyst – Intern, you will serve as a member of the Engineering team, reporting directly to the CTO and collaborating with other members of the Security & Infrastructure unit. This is a great opportunity to get experience in cybersecurity and potentially receive a full-time employment offer.
Our team has been fully distributed since day 0. Our HQ office is in Dallas, TX, and our secondary office space is in New York, NY, which have both been opened to anyone who chooses to go in.
Key Qualifications
· Preferably studying Computer Science with a focus on cybersecurity
· Passionate and interested in getting started in cybersecurity
· Familiarity with cloud computing infrastructure (AWS)
· Familiarity with programming languages (JavaScript/Typescript)
· Familiarity with basic cybersecurity CIA triad
· Team player, someone who is willing to and is interested in contributing and evolving their role
Key Responsibilities
· Initially responsible for performing internal ISO27001 internal audit
· Working with engineers to resolve and mitigate security issues
· Working with the CTO to codify best-practices and procedures
