We are seeking a Junior Sales Associate to join our Sales team. The Junior Sales Associate’s responsibilities cover all aspects of sell-side institutional equity sales, including:
- Working alongside experienced members of our salesforce
- Delivering MoffettNathanson’s research to asset managers
- Scheduling and hosting marketing meetings
- Prospecting for new accounts
- Interfacing with members of the Research Department and Trading Desk
- Maintaining customer databases
The ideal Junior Sales Associate’s qualifications will include:
- Undergraduate degree
- One to three years’ experience in sell-side equity research
- Outstanding record of customer service, demonstrated history of success, and a superior interpersonal skills
- An ability to learn new material quickly, a solid work ethic, and an innate desire to succeed and achieve a high standard of excellence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An ability to work both independently in an unstructured environment and as part of a team
- Active Series 7 and 63 securities licenses
