Analyst and Report Creator (crunch numbers and create reports)

Clear Point is a small consulting firm based in Chapel Hill with big global clients. Our current interns are graduating / moving on to permanent positions and we are looking for 2 new candidates. In a nutshell we process information, we collect data from our client’s customers and employees and produce outputs which help them to better run their businesses. Our process is to take you on as an intern for a semester and if it works for both of us, we will offer you a part time position. Most of our interns will work for us until they graduate and beyond in some cases. If you are considering a career in management consulting or business analytics, Clear Point is a good place to learn.

Details:

·       You must be intellectually curious and want to solve problems

·       You must like Excel, really like it! – this is a big one, we can train but you must have a solid foundation

·       Power BI, Tableau, Visual Basic, coding of any type etc. experience or aptitude is a plus

·       Graphic design experience or aptitude is a plus

·       Proficient in PowerPoint and Word

·       Be OK with - we know you won’t love it, no one does - creating tedious reports

·       Currently we work virtually, we generally meet once a week for a working lunch on Franklin Street or use office space at Launch if needed

·      We are super casual, you be as well

·      You must be able to work 10 hours a week and potentially more if we have a deadline

·      If you are doing client related work we will pay you during internship, we pay well

·       Be OK working nontraditional hours if we have a deadline we work until it is done
