We are an exciting early-stage medical technology company based in Oakland, California. The company develops and commercializes customer-centric MRI systems and MRI based technologies that enhance patients' lives and redefine the standard of care.
We are seeking a driven individual to join our team as Supply Chain Engineer in Oakland.
Responsibilities
- Create purchasing and supplier management processes
- Ongoing assessment and qualification of suppliers
- Development of new suppliers for optimizing cost and quality
- Work with suppliers to proactively implement quality controls
- Manage suppler FACAs and process/quality/cost improvements
- Manage bill of materials
- Analyzing data, track and report KPIs to senior management
- Manage, negotiate and interface with suppliers
- Plan, perform, and manage all purchasing
- Optimizing inventory levels to meet production schedules
The Supply Chain Engineer will own and manage the supply chain and other operations processes on NetSuite.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of supply chain optimization, analytics and KPI measurement
- Willingness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment
Education/Experience
- BBA, MBA, BS/MS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
