Lockstep Fall '22 Product Operations Internship

Lockstep is looking for a qualified Product Operations Intern to join our Product team. As a Product Operations Intern, you will play a critical role in helping our team develop, manage, and launch our products. This role reports to the Growth Product Manager and you will work alongside them to identify process improvements and growth opportunities across our suite of products.

As an intern on our Product team, your first two weeks will be spent learning how our company operates, our products, and the ins and outs of the product team’s processes. As you progress in your learnings, different projects will be assigned to you. You can also expect:

  • Weekly check-ins with your manager
  • Regular training sessions with the rest of the Product team
  • Monthly Milestones Reviews to highlight the progress you are making
  • Duration: Each internship lasts for twelve weeks.
  • Salary: Interns will be compensated $23/hr
  • Location: The intern is fully remote and can work from anywhere in the US.
  • Date: Exact dates flexible between September 2022 through mid-December 2022.
  • Scope: Each intern will manage a single project that can be executed during a three-month internship in collaboration with an experienced Product Manager.
  • Graduation: Successful interns receive priority consideration for fulltime positions at Lockstep.


Responsibilities:
The goal of this internship is to help scale our products and processes, specifically surrounding product related data. As a part of this internship, you will learn how we capture customer data, assist with data analysis projects, and determine ways for us to better manage our product data. Beyond product data, you will also be introduced to other product team processes where you will be able to assist in numerous process improvement iniatives. The internship will conclude with a write up on your findings and recommendations for helping scale our data related processes.

  • Own research of current product data processes and complete one feature plan outlining your recommendations for improvements to our current processes.
  • Assist with ad-hoc data analysis project to help better understand our customers.
  • Learn about processes throughout the product team and assist the team in different process improvement iniatives.
  • Present findings to product team on a weekly basis.
  • Support daily and weekly product reporting initiatives.


Qualifications
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated self-started with the ability to manage your own progress and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in data analysis.
  • Organized with high attention to detail
