Tax Associate with Thomas, Judy & Tucker

Thomas, Judy & Tucker (TJT), a growing CPA firm with offices in Raleigh, Durham, Wilmington and Emerald Isle NC, is hiring aspiring tax professionals seeking public accounting experience to join our firm in a full-time role. We are hiring candidates looking for experience working with business and individual clients. We are seeking candidates who will be actively pursuing their CPA certification to join our 190+ person team.

The firm’s practice is well developed and has a wide range of clients within the areas of hospitality, manufacturing, real estate, non-profit agencies, low-income housing and construction. The ideal candidate would be looking for a range of experiences working with both business and individual clients. Our TJT tax team members assist with tax compliance as well as consulting on tax planning opportunities. Additional qualifications would include general accounting knowledge as well as exposure to financial statement preparation. Strong communication skills are required for managing and developing client relationships. The ability to work independently is also crucial. Experience using CCH Axcess Tax and Engagement trial balance software would be an asset to the candidate.
