Position: 2023 Summer Intern (rising seniors)
Location: New York, NY; 4 days in-office required; 1 day remote
Compensation: Paid; lunch provided 3 days/week

Description
Leading strategic communications consultancy exclusively focused on the life sciences is seeking an ambitious, motivated, and highly organized rising senior for a Summer Intern position with the potential for full-time employment upon graduation. This is an incredible opportunity for a student with an interest in pursuing corporate communications, investor relations, or public relations. An interest in learning about communications, healthcare investing, and the life sciences industry is important. 
Responsibilities
·        Supporting team with client related activities
·        Managing and updating investor database
·        Review and proofing of client deliverables, including press releases and PowerPoint presentations
·        Drafting conference teaser press releases and meeting backgrounders
·        Research for special client projects
·        Monitoring analyst commentary and/or media coverage and preparing summary reports for clients
·        Managing outreach lists and creating meeting schedules
Qualifications
·        Rising senior with a strong academic record (minimum 3.0 GPA)
·        Previous internship experience in an IR/PR/communications agency or life science/healthcare organization preferred
·        Strong written and verbal communication skills
·        Strong analytical skills
·        Ability to balance high level thinking with getting deep into the details
·        Ability to be organized, accurate, and all around a highly motivated team player
·        Ability to work on multiple projects within a fast-paced, multi-task working environment while adhering to strict deadlines
·        Good judgment and impeccable ethics; desire to succeed in a demanding, innovative, entrepreneurial environment
·        Exceptional project management and organizational skills; impeccable attention to detail
·        Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
