We provide application-level support through testing and development for critical trading applications used by Commodities, FX Options and Derivative Technologies. Our intern hire will be responsible for testing and supporting advancements to applications while learning about capital markets and regulatory concepts.
What will my responsibilities look like?
 
Interns within Global Technology applications will contribute to the integrated system testing process. In turn, they will also contribute to user integrated testing to ensure user functionality and ease of system use. The Global Technology applications team partners with users including traders, risk managers, middle and back office etc. to ensure requirements have been addressed. Our team also supports users within troubleshooting and gathering all necessary details to resolve issues as they arise within the programs.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if:
 
  • Bachelor's degree in progress within business, math, computer science, engineering, technology, or related field
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences at various levels within the organization
  • Working knowledge of financial markets and market activity
  • Experience using MS Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Familiarity with JIRA and SharePoint
  • Knowledge of the development lifecycle is a plus
