Shift: 8hr Night Shift (40)

Shift Information: Sunday - Thursday 11pm - 7:30am.

On Call, Call Back Requirements: No call

Weekend Rotation: None

Holiday Requirements: None

Floating Requirements: No floating

JOB DESCRIPTION

Performs a variety of preparatory, scrubbing and related services necessary to provide patient service in the operating room. Assists with surgical cases in all specialty areas.

• Beds: 12
• Experience: 18 months
• First-time traveler: Upon review

Patient Types: Toddler through geriatrics, inpatient/outpatient. No cardiac or transplant but every other service lines

Covid & PPE: Adequest PPE provided

Patient Ratios: 1:1

Required Certifications: CST- BLS, CST, Surgical Assist – BLS, CSFA

Skills required Experience with trauma, neuro, total joints (hips/knees), craniotomies, spinal fusion, level 1 trauma experience (preferred)

• EPIC experience is a must
• CST: scrub cases

Support on the Unit: Charge nurse:, Resource Nurse, RT, Hospitalist

• EPIC – EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Alaris IV pump
