LAMOUR Clinic and LAMOUR Community Health Institute were developed to provide an essential link between the community, the health care and human services system. Our specialty is using a blend of Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), integrated into our behavioral health program services that meet the needs of children, adolescents, families, and adults.

LOCATION:
Main offices in Randolph, Massachusetts and Braintree, Massachusetts. Administrative staff can be designated to work at any of our office sites within the regions we cover based on positions that are available and travel is required at times.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Intern Clinician conducts Intake Assessments for enrollment into program services provided in Massachusetts. Maintains compliance on medical necessity criteria for record policies and procedures via audits, collection demographic information and keeping the program in compliance. Provides outpatient services in office and in the community (homes, schools and other community-based agencies) Duties include assisting with audits, compliance monitoring quality assurance and carrying a case load. Duties Required to develop, implant, and monitor a comprehensive quality assurance programming streamlining new patient intakes into the program treatment services that address patient’s treatment needs. This position requires ongoing communication with staff medical necessary, the appropriate level of care. Provides service coordination of assigned cases, including engaging parents and patients in the programs, home visits, crisis management collateral contacts, and transition planning. Provides ongoing assessment every 90 days, assigned cases and participates in assessments and treatment planning, including the written reports of such assessments for enrollment into Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Substance Abuse and Recovery Support Services ( RSS), Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), In-Home Therapy (IHT),In- Home Behavioral (IHB) other programs and services.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED AND EXPERIENCE:
This position requires a Masters in Mental Health related field. Must have over two years’ experience with adults, children, and families or with mentally ill populations, urban youth and crisis management, including training in family therapy, children play therapy Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or Substance abuse and Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
Must be license eligible clinicians to have the following minimum qualifications & Education:
- Psychologists
- Doctoral degree in psychology (Ph.D., PsyD, EdD) from an accredited college or university and certification as a Health Service Provider (HSP) by the Board of Registration of Psychology in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, North Carolina Psychology Board or Florida Board of Psychology
- Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers (LICSW or LCSW)
- Master’s degree or higher in social work from an accredited college or university
- Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC)
- Master’s degree in the mental health field (including, but not restricted to, counseling, family therapy, psychology, etc.) from an accredited college or university
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT)
- Master’s degree in the mental health field (including, but not restricted to, counseling, family therapy, psychology, etc.) from an accredited college or university
Candidate must be currently licensed or license eligible in either State of Massachusetts
Must be Culturally and Linguistically competent, bilingual a plus; Haitian Creole, Portuguese Creole, Spanish, Cantonese, or Vietnamese.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
Intake assessment, treatment plans, CANS medical necessity admission criteria, and enrollment packets are complete for the patient to be enrolled into program services
- Must understand and be willing to train in understanding medical necessity and be able to diagnose and assess patients participating in program services and work with children, adolescents and adults
- Must understand and be willing to by trained on providing therapy children, adolescent and adult individually
- Must understand and be willing to by trained on providing case management and go to client homes , schools, and other community settings if needed
- Must understand and be willing to by trained on complete assessment, CANS assessment, treatment plan, and progress note in accordance to a policy that meets the professional standards and timeframe and interdisciplinary and/or care review meetings for a plan of care
- Must understand and be willing to by trained on completes all documentation needed and develops clearly defined interventions and measurable goals and outcomes that are consistent by a policy that meets the professional standards,
- Must understand and be willing to by trained on Completes all treatment planning documentation needed and develops clearly defined interventions and measurable goals and outcomes that are consistent in accordance with a policy that meets the professional standards
- Reviews all documentation for ongoing programs admission criteria and auditing
- Collaboration with care coordinator via collard contact (via phone, attendance at IEP meetings, hospital discharge meetings, Care Planning Team (CPT) meetings for youth enrolled in ICC services)
- Refers patients when needed to other programs Services for Youth Development Early Learning Center, Psychological and Neuropsychological Testing, Medication Management, Substance Abuse program Services, In-Home Therapy Program (IHT)/ Family Stabilization Team ( FST), Community Support Program (CSP),Therapeutic Mentoring (TM), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA).
- Reviews all documentation of staff clinical direct care staff as part of supervision weekly complies measure of medical necessity documentation in medical record every 90 days and 180 days reviews, diagnose, assessment, treatment planning and services specification documentation, etc.
- Utilize comprehensive, home-based behavioral health assessment inclusive of the CANS, with fidelity regarding process notes, treatment plans and assessments and discharge plan
- Will be trained in Applied Behavioral Analysis and Dialectical Behavior Therapy treatment methods and obtain licensure
- Progress Notes Match Reproductivity Reports submitted daily for as timesheet for billable hours
- Completes Specialty Programs documentation progress notes within 24 hours and uploads inpatient file cabinet in EMR
- Verifies patients after appointment or services in EMR

- Must be highly motivated and self-directed Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must possess knowledge of child development; including physical, mental, emotional
- Must have Clinical and Psychiatric Expertise; must have Cultural and Linguistic Competence;
- Must be computer literate. The detail and organizational skills critical;
- Strong analytical skills and interpersonal skills willing to work directly with patients and clients
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
SALARY & BENEFITS:
- $500 per Month increase based on KIP monthly the hire after training
- 24 Hours weekly from September to May
- $30 - $40 per hour depending on experience
- Flexible Schedule
- *Must however be willing to work some late afternoons and evenings until 8:15pm, and some weekends.
- Education stipends with partnering colleges available after one year of employment
- Possible H1B Visa sponsor After 365 days of hirer

- Flexible Schedule but must be able to work in the late afternoons and evening until 8:15 pm and some weekends based on client needs
