Venture Capital Investor - Full Time
Growth Warrior Capital invests at Seed and Series A in dangerous technology companies led by exceptional founders, building platforms that fundamentally change the way we work, earn, and build wealth. We are a team of operators that are advancing the funding landscape for non-traditional founders, grounded in our Managing Partner Promise Phelon’s 20 years as a founder and exec in Silicon Valley.
As we continue deploying, we are seeking full time investors to supercharge our pipeline and help us look at more deals, faster. This role is suited to hunters, who are energized by proactively seeking out investment opportunities, building relationships, and deep diving on markets and businesses. Investors will work closely with top operators and investors, access critical conversations with portfolio companies and a seat at the table / ability to influence serious decisions.
Key functions:
- Investment Origination
- Identify growth industries, creative sourcing strategies, and investment prospects
- Build pipeline of prospective investment opportunities and elevate high quality opportunities to senior team members
- Research & Analysis
- Evaluate investment opportunities including market research, industry trends, metrics benchmarking, financial analysis, and more
- Network Development
- Collaborate with team to identify and build relationships with key industry stakeholders
- Portfolio Support
- Provide ongoing operational support to founders within GWC’s portfolio
Who we’re looking for:
- Not afraid to think differently and push back, have a strong POV, voraciously curious, loves learning

- Ability to work independently, but know when to ask for help
- Deep understanding of the funding landscape for nontraditional founders — bonus points for coming with a thesis about what’s working/what’s not
