Howard County Pediatrics is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Primary Care Pediatrician to join our esteemed medical team. We are a well-established pediatric practice committed to providing high-quality healthcare services to children in Howard County and the surrounding communities. Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to pediatric patients, ranging from newborns to adolescents.
• Conduct thorough examinations, diagnose illnesses, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Perform routine check-ups, immunizations, and screenings.
• Educate patients and their families about preventive healthcare measures, nutrition, mental health, and general wellness.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the practice to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
• Participate in shared call responsibilities, ensuring continuity of care during after-hours and weekends.
• Nurse triage is the first call during office closures.
• Work collaboratively with a supportive team of pediatricians, nurse practitioners and child psychologists.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of a pediatric residency program.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics.
• Valid medical license in the state of Maryland (or eligible for licensure).
• Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport with pediatric patients and their families.
• Dedication to providing compassionate and family-centered care.
• Commitment to staying current with the latest developments in pediatric medicine.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
