Technical Specialist Patent Agent (Computer/Software/Electrical)
PatentFinance.com (Mooney IP) is hiring for a new technical specialist to help review patent applications which are being prepared and prosecuted at the USPTO. We work for leading startups and technology companies in wireless, electrical, computer, and software technology areas. Our remote positions have flexible hours.

Responsibilities
Draft patent applications in line with robust technical rigor
Respond to office actions in line with robust technical rigor
Join daily standup meetings and weekly conference calls, occasionally with the customer
Qualifications
Hungry, helpful, humble, hardworking, honest
Technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, or similar
Patent preparation or prosecution experience in Software, AI, or Wireless technologies or knowledge of all these technologies and what Patents are.
ideally: a registered Patent Agent OR formal training programs completed in prep & pros
ideally: experience obtaining SEPs, large portfolio patents, and/or international portfolios
Able to satisfactorily complete a basic assignment and/or provide samples of work with your name on it
Able to hit the ground running
Love learning, impressing clients, and growing as a team
Open to starting part time (contract based)
