StaRN Residency Program

Job Title: StaRN Residency Program 

Location: Asheville, NC

Duration: Full Time

Facility: HCA Healthcare | Mission Hospital

 

Pay Rate: $28 - $32 (During Training)

Shift Differentials: $4 (Second Shift), $6 (Third Shift), $3.50 Weekends

 

Note: Payrate can Increase after training depending on prior healthcare experience. ) |  Sign on Up to 20k.

 

Specialties after training: Med Surg: Spine, Ortho, Renal, Medical Telemetry Observation, Adult Med/Surg, General Medicine, General Surgery (post op), Neurosciences, Pulmonary, Staffing Pool, ED, ICU, Medical Cardiology Stepdown.

 

Position Description:

  • Come and join our StaRN Residency Program! We invite new graduate RNs to apply for this unique opportunity. Open positions will vary throughout the year, and positions will be offered based on needs of the hospital. 

 

Part 1:  StaRN Training – First 5-8 Weeks (depending on specialty)

 

Part 2:  StaRN Clinical Preceptorship – Next 7-8 Weeks (depending on specialty) 

 

Part 3:  HCA Residency Program – Remainder of your 1st year

 

Requirements:

  • Current North Carolina RN license or Multi-state Compact RN license (or ability to obtain).
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, within past 1 year.
  • Program acceptance requires a two (2) year full-time commitment to the hospital.  If a nurse chooses to leave the facility before the 2-year commitment is fulfilled, they may be required to meet a monetary responsibility.
  • Attendance is imperative throughout the StaRN Training program.
