Marketing Specialist

Are you a creative and results-driven Marketing Specialist looking to gain real-world experience while making a meaningful impact in the health industry? Join our agile and ambitious startup team and play a pivotal role in developing and implementing marketing strategies for AlzMeter, a groundbreaking Alzheimer’s prevention app. Collaborate closely with the founder and team members to drive awareness, engagement, and adoption of the app through innovative marketing approaches.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the team to develop and execute targeted marketing strategies for app promotion and user acquisition.
  • Create compelling content for social media, email campaigns, blogs, and other marketing channels.
  • Analyze market trends and user behavior to optimize marketing efforts and ensure alignment with audience needs.
  • Assist in managing and growing the app’s social media presence.
  • Collaborate with designers and product managers to align marketing materials with the app’s brand and vision.
  • Track and report marketing performance metrics to inform future campaigns.

 

Requirements:

  • Must be able to dedicate at least 20 hours/week for this internship.
  • Pursuing or completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field OR demonstrable experience.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools (e.g., SEO, social media, email marketing).
  • Proficient in tools such as Google Analytics, Mailchimp, or similar platforms.
  • Highly organized with a keen sense of accountability and attention to detail.
  • Consistent, dependable, and capable of meeting project deadlines efficiently.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new tools and methodologies rapidly.
  • Awareness of current marketing trends and a passion for crafting innovative campaigns.
