Job Description

SteepRock is hiring 1 to 2 Analysts for the 2025 class. The Analyst’s primary responsibility is to be a meaningful contributor to the Real Estate Debt Investment team by assisting in under writing, performing due diligence, development of investment/credit memos, travelling on site visits, closing loans as well as assisting in special projects to identify market opportunities.

Specific Job Description:

-Underwrite New Investment Opportunities

-Create dynamic cash flows for all asset types

-Effectively operate both equity and debt valuation models

-Perform market and asset level due diligence including site visits

-Assist in closing loans/investments

-Work on investor presentations

-Track performance of investments

Qualifications:

-Graduate of a top Undergraduate School

-Genuine Interest in Real Estate

-General comprehension of Real Estate and Real Estate Capital markets

-Self Motivated

-Engaging personality

-Independent and Curious Thinker

-Ability to work in teams to accomplish a common goal

Compensation:

Base Salary: $100,000

Bonus $15,000-30,000

This role is located out of SteepRock’s Greenwich, CT office.
