What I liked
I was trusted with legitimate work for the organization, which gave me confidence and valuable experiences concerning government and advocacy. I attended Hill meetings, managed events, and learned about social media advocacy and web-development. My personal network increased greatly and I was able to make connections with people who may be a source of future internships. Overall, this internship is an incredible learning opportunity, as well as a great entry-point into potentially future careers in the DC area!
