About Northwest Youth Corps

Northwest Youth Corps, which includes Idaho Conservation Corps, is an innovative non-profit organization dedicated to providing opportunities for youth and young adults to learn, grow, and experience success.

We have 3 paid internship programs. Our Conservation Intern and Resource Assistance Program provides opportunities within the Idaho, Oregon, and Washington area. These two programs accept applications year-round for hundreds of opportunities. Our third internship program, Community Volunteer Ambassador Program, places interns at 60 National Park sites throughout the United States and its territories. It is uniquely ran in partnership with Conservation Legacy and the National Park Service. It only accepts applications October-December for the following year's cohort. Additionally, we operate camping and community conservation crews for both youths and young adults, as well as , youth day camps, a fully accredited outdoor high school, and a 2-acre organic farm. We have leadership opportunities, certified teaching positions, administrative openings, and crew-based work available throughout the year.
